As part of Lanka Kade I designed a new range of toys to add to their large collection of hand made, Fair Trade products. The company specialize in the use of rubberwood, a waste product of the rubber industry. My designs aimed to improve fine motor skills in children under five years old. During my time at Lanka Kade I visited their Fair Trade manufacturers in Sri Lanka to develop my designs further, building prototypes for batch production.
