Lightreel is a flexible light which transforms any surface into a back lit work space. Assisting Artists, Designers and Educators in transforming any space into an optimal working environment.
This project required extensive testing of materials in order to find the perfect combination of layers to for a thin, flexible, illuminated surface.

It uses LED's laminated onto aluminium strips. These are attached to a leather base and covered in three layers of flexible polyurethane elastomer to for a thin flexible light with hard top surface for drawing or writting
