In 2015 I joined Object Design’s small team of highly skilled designers and craftsmen. They produce designs in various materials, including wood, metals and plastics, bridging the gap between the creative world of design and the technological world of manufacture. Their products are designed and manufactured from their studio and workshops in east London, employing both traditional and cutting edge production techniques. Working alongside this team helped develop my manufacturing knowledge, from hand finishing techniques to the operation of highly delicate machinery.
